Prophetic Promises

We have, as a local church, prophetic words which we hold onto, and which shape the direction that we believe God will take us in the future.

Here are three of the more prominent ones that we live with:

I want you to see six churches built in South Warwickshire.

...given to Graham Jakeman at Stoneleigh Bible week in Aug 1998. This promise fuels our desire to serve the wider community of South Warwickshire, and to see other churches established in the major population centers in the south of the county.

You will be like a small insignificant shop moving from a side street into a larger shop on the Parade. People will say, only God could have done this!

...given by Chris Spicer in February 2005. This promise leads us to believe that God will establish us as a large strategic church in Leamington and the area, but will be recognized as God’s sovereign work to his glory alone.

Gather the prophets!

...given to Graham Jakeman in Aug 2005. This promise leads us to believe that we are to be a place where prophetic people are loved, accepted, equipped and trained to function in their gifting to the benefit of the wider church.
